Tennessee Family Camp is a great time for families, couples, and individuals to draw near to God and enjoy edifying Christian fellowship in the beautiful Tennessee outdoors. Our prayer and expectation is that every camper leaves encouraged, inspired, and refreshed by the Word of God and Christian love shared with one another.
We provide a nursery to care for babies and toddlers during meeting times. We’ve planned lots of fun and age-appropriate activities, crafts, and Bible lessons for preschoolers and school-age children.
Teens and adults gather together indoors to enjoy engaging Bible teachings daily.
Generally afternoons are reserved for recreation and family activities. Afternoon recreation activities include pool and lake swimming, basketball, tennis, canoeing, pontoon boat rides, hiking, fishing and more.
Meals are enjoyed together in the cafeteria and coffee and refreshments are offered throughout the day. Please let us know on the registration form if you have any special dietary needs so we can accommodate them.
The accommodations at Camp Paradise Valley are comfortable and climate controlled so you can rest and get the most out of camp.
Campers will be housed in either a Lodge Room or a Family Cabin. Housing is assigned by the NBSF camp registrar with careful consideration to best fit the needs of all of the campers. First-floor rooms and handicap-accessible rooms are available by request.
Lodge Rooms are simple hotel-style rooms with two single or two double beds and a private bathroom. A few rooms have a mini fridge which is popular with young families. Sheets, pillows, blankets and towels are provided.
Family Cabins have a group room with an adjoining private room. The group room has bunk or twin beds for up to 16 people and a bathroom with multiple showers, toilets, and sinks. The adjoining private room has 2 beds and a private bathroom. Campers staying in Family Cabins need to bring their own sheets, pillows, blankets and towels.
Registered campers will be provided a welcome letter and suggested "What to Bring" list.
Generally September in Tennessee is still quite warm. You can expect lows in the mid 60s and highs in the mid 80s. Occasional rain is possible. Meals and meetings are usually inside air-conditioned spaces. Outside activities take place in the afternoons and evenings. We highly recommend checking the weather forecast in the week prior to camp.
